The 1970’s steelers were a special team and they always thrived around their defense. Nobody could beat them, they dominated the seventies with all of their super bowl wins. At the time one of the main reasons they made the playoffs was because, they were in a fairly weak division, the central it was called at the time. Really, the only two strong teams in the central were the steelers and the browns. The browns had the great and legendary brian sipe and others i can’t remember. But this steeler team has to be the greatest steeler team of all time, these times for the steelers and the city of pittsburgh were some great times and specialy times. I don’t remember any of the steeler players from these seventies teams but, i do remember the steel curtain, possibly the greatest defensive football team of all time.
